en route climb performance
The climb (or descent) performance with the aircraft in the en route configuration with the critical power unit inoperative—and the critical two power units inoperative in the case of aircraft having three or more power units. The critical power unit(s) is the power-unit(s) failure that results in the most adverse effect on the aircraft’s characteristics relative to the case under consideration.
